Bloomberg Technoz, Bali - The 10th World Water Forum in Nusa Dua, Bali Province on 18-24 May 2024 will be attended by international delegates. The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) itself has prepared qualified room facilities and a media center for journalists, both local and foreign, to support this international event.
"This service is provided to make it easier for domestic and foreign journalist friends to cover the 10th World Water Forum," explained the Director General of Information and Public Communication (Dirjen IKP) Kominfo, Usman Kansong, in his statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (15 /5/2024).
The Media Center will be located at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center 2 (BNDCC 2), Nusa Dua and will be open at 08.00-19.00 WITA. The facilities available at the Media Center include press releases in two languages, Indonesian Language and English.
Moreover, the Media Center also provides supporting information materials such as photos, infographics, short videos and bulletins.
“We have prepared a media host, they are photographers and videographers. They will take great images and broadcast needs. The materials from the media host can be accessed for free. "This is our service to prepare news material for media friends," he explained more.
Furthermore, the Director General of IKP Kominfo said, in the Media Center there will be a work station with a capacity of 284 seats. Internet service with a speed of 100 megabytes per second (Mbps), 40 units of LAN cables on the working area desk with a bandwidth of 1 Giga byte per second (Gbps), and 20 units of PC and laptop computers.
"The work space is in Tanjung Benoa Hall, 1st floor of BNDCC 2," he explained. Kominfo provides shuttle bus facilities that operate to and from several points that can be used by media crew to reach the Media Center or carry out reporting activities from accommodation locations.
The route provided is I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport – Hotel Santika Siligita – BNDCC and vice versa on 15-18 May 2024 Then the route Hotel Courtyard - Santika Siligita - BNDCC and vice versa is served every 20 minutes on 15-24 May 2024 at 08.00-22.00 WITA.
Meanwhile, the BNDCC – BICC route and vice versa is served every 10 minutes on 18-24 May 2024.
